Good Shepherd Office of Public Policy

The Good Shepherd Volunteer assists in developing, coordinating and implementing the public policy initiatives to support women, children and adolescents served by Good Shepherd Services. This includes advocacy strategy at the local, state and national levels with a goal of advancing public policies to help promote strength-based services to at-risk families and communities. Key areas include education, child welfare, youth development, domestic violence, and other community-based services. The GSV also works collaboratively with the government contracts department to integrate policy and funding initiatives for Good Shepherd Services.
