Our Alumni

Since 1992, over 350 service-minded professionals have called themselves Good Shepherd Volunteers (GSVs). GSVs have served where they were needed most, from Bolivia to Los Angeles to Wickatunk, NJ, joining a life-long network of alumni support. Through guaranteed access to professional development opportunities, an X% rate of job offer at their placement site, and priority access to post-grad scholarships, our volunteers make the most of GSV resources even after their year of service. Now a repository of experience, wisdom, and compassion, the alumni community continues to service as shepherd for the next generation.

Our alumni stay involved by attending virtual and in-person events, contributing to key program initiatives, and partnering with staff to bring in the next generation. No matter whether they served last year or 30 years ago, there are opportunities for continued engagement. GGSV alumni are encouraged to check out our resources page, involvement suggestions, and outreach toolkit to learn more about current program priorities. â€‹
